Founding Story & Commitment to Excellence

Favella started after our founder sat through three different Italian evening classes in London that never once matched the syllabus to real conversation, everyone from beginners to near-fluent speakers doing the same worksheet on Tuesday nights. Booking a private tutor elsewhere meant an hourly rate that crept up mid-course and a different substitute teacher every time the regular one was off.

So we built our own curriculum in-house, covering A1 to C1, and we only work with native or bilingual tutors who go through a structured interview and a trial lesson before they ever teach a paying client. Every lesson plan is reviewed by our curriculum director before it reaches your tutor, so nothing gets improvised on the day.

Pricing is agreed upfront as a fixed quote for a set block of lessons, invoiced once that block is delivered and payable by bank transfer or cash, no card terminals and no hidden add-ons. If your schedule or your tutor isn't working within the first 30 days, we'll adjust it directly, because the course is our responsibility until you're getting what you booked.
