Parties and scope

These terms apply between Favella, referred to as we or us, and the individual or business booking Italian tuition, referred to as you. They cover private lessons, group courses, exam preparation and any related tuition services offered on this site.

Booking and quotes

A booking is confirmed once level, format, timing and price have been agreed by phone or message. Quoted prices are estimates based on the information you provide and may be adjusted if your level, goals or availability change materially before the first lesson.

Performance of the work and access

Lessons are delivered at the agreed time, either in person at a suitable location, at your office, or online by video call. You are responsible for providing a reasonably quiet space and a working internet connection for online sessions, and for being ready at the agreed start time.

Prices, payment after completion and invoices

Payment is due on completion of a lesson or block unless invoicing has been agreed in advance. Accepted payment methods are cash on completion or bank transfer against an invoice; no other payment method is accepted.

Cancellation and rescheduling

Lessons can be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations made with less notice are charged in full, as the tutor's time has been reserved and cannot generally be reallocated.

Liability, insurance and complaints

We take reasonable care in preparing and delivering lessons but cannot guarantee specific exam grades or fluency outcomes, as these depend on your own study and practice. If a lesson clearly fails to match the agreed level or content, tell us within a week and we will offer a replacement session or adjustment.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
